1000mile Cycle Project begins Feb 12th…

Cycle the Sahara

This Winter I wanted a goal to give me a reason to train hard on my fitness & strength in preparation for the kayak season an area I felt needed improving. Something to motivate me and challenge me that would excite me….

In February 2013 myself and my friend Kayaker/ Adventurer Richard Harpham will take to Salsa Fat Bikes and cycle over 1000 miles in Morocco & Northern Sahara. I imagine it’s going to be quite gruelling but also will take us through some spectacular landscapes.

We aim to raise money for SportsAid, who help fund emerging talent in sport, as part of giving something back.

We set off on the 12th of Feb & return on the 26th Feb so wish us luck! We’ll put up updates if we can on our FB page and our websites.
